Edmonton's cherished winter festival, the Flying Canoë Volant, is set to enchant residents and visitors alike from January 28 to 31, 2026.
This annual event transforms the Mill Creek Ravine and the French Quarter into a luminous wonderland, celebrating the rich tapestry of French-Canadian, First Nations, and Métis cultures.
Inspired by the legendary tale of the flying canoe, the festival invites attendees to immerse themselves in a unique blend of history, art, and winter festivities.

Illuminated Trails:
Wander through the Mill Creek Ravine, where the trails come alive with mesmerizing light installations crafted by local artists.

Portage Relay Registration:
$20 per team, with proceeds supporting the festival and the Centre Communautaire d’Edmonton.

On Friday and Saturday nights, a shuttle service will operate between Bonnie Doon Mall and the festival sites.
