After a comprehensive rehabilitation spanning several years, the Peter Hemingway Aquatic Centre has officially reopened, welcoming Edmontonians back to a cherished community landmark.

 

Originally inaugurated in 1971, the facility underwent significant upgrades to its mechanical, structural, and electrical systems, ensuring its continued service for future generations.

 

Among the notable enhancements is the addition of a cold plunge pool, a feature that has already elicited enthusiastic reactions from early visitors.
