Also,  a great selection of 'Things to do this weekend'. :)

Lets get to it!

Our featured story

In the news this week

The Alberta Food Processors Association (AFPA) has launched a new app to help shoppers support local businesses.

Called Made in Alberta, the tool makes it easy for consumers to find food and beverage products made right here in the province.

With a simple scan or search, the app reveals local alternatives to everyday grocery items, directly addressing the common challenge of identifying Alberta-made goods on crowded shelves.

The initiative aims to strengthen the local economy against supply chain disruptions and keep money circulating within our communities.

For small business owners in places like Edmonton and Sherwood Park, the platform is a vital marketing tool to gain visibility against larger corporations.

The app already features over 3,000 products from more than 900 Alberta companies, tapping into a strong consumer desire to buy local and support their neighbors.
