Trivia Question❓

What Alberta lake is so salty that you can float easily, similar to the Dead Sea?

Answer at the bottom of the newsletter

Happy Monday!

This week's issue is loaded with lots of things to do. 🥳

In today's issue is the update that most Albertans have been awaiting for some time now.

Lets go! 🥳

The big story...!

In the news this week

A colossal industrial load is causing significant traffic chaos across Edmonton.

The 1.9 million pound caustic wash tower is slowly making its way to the DOW Chemicals site near Fort Saskatchewan.

This multi-day journey is resulting in rolling road closures and major delays for local motorists.

The 'super load' is so large it occupies the entire width of the highway, including the shoulders, moving at a crawl from its starting point in south central Edmonton.

Key routes affected include Whitemud Drive and Highway 14.

Officials are advising drivers to expect disruptions as the massive component, part of DOW's major Path2Zero expansion project, continues its carefully choreographed trip through the region.
